Yesterday was Ethan's preschool graduation. I can't believe he is going to be in kindergarten already. I felt sort of silly because of how emotional I have been about this. The program was really cute. They sang several songs, including the ABC Macarena, which was hilarious. If I could ever figure out how to download a video I would so sorry. As part of the program the teachers gave them diplomas and, based on their personalities, chose what career they think they would have if they tried to get a job today. I'm sure from the title you could guess they picked Ethan to be a politician. I wasn't sure how I felt about that so after I asked why they chose that. They said because he is always so proper when standing in front of the class and he has an answer for every question. So I guess I'm okay with that.After we moved Ethan started preschool with his cousin. They loved being in the same class and are both looking forward to starting kindergarten next year!
Here is Emily with her teacher. I can't believe how quite and shy Emily is at school. Her teacher said that she barely says 2 words all day. Home sure is a different story. She is our little chatterbox!! She also said that in the 25 years she has done preschool she has never had a child be so obedient all the time. I guess Emily has been the line leader more than everyone else because she is such a good little girl!
On a totally different note- My sister in law came over and helped me can some peaches yesterday. I had never done it before. So here is the finished product. Hopefully they will taste as good as they look!! Thanks Michelle!!

Yeah, you're alive, and canning peaches to boot! I know what you mean about the whole growing up and going to Kindergarten. I'm not sure about the whole thing with Emma either, and I've already done this once before. Ahh!
glad to see a new post! funny about ethan and a politician. i wonder what they would have picked for elle? and that is cute about emily being so well behaved at school. isn't it funny how much different we all are away from our families? good job on the peaches.
All the kids are cute in the pictures. It makes me miss you guys even more. Tell Michelle that I wish I had her near to teach me all the things she knows how to do in the kitchen. Sometime the boys and I will have to come spend a week with you guys so I don't miss out on ALL the fun!
congrats to ethan for graduating from preschool. it's crazy how grown up our little ones are. for brooklyn's preschool they did awards - she got most outgoing. fitting for her.

Look at you go! Congrats on the beautiful graduation for the kiddo, the complimentary diploma and those gorgeous peaches. I had big plans for canning and jamming and all that fun stuff, oh well, maybe next year.
