As hard as we try we can't get Emily to go under. So she posed in front of it
Here they are with 2 of their cousins and another neighbor. There are several other kids we swim with regularly but they were being shy
Ethan swimming to the steps (and losing his shorts!)
I didn't get any pictures of Emery. Unfortunately he is not always the biggest fan of the pool. He would usually rather sit in his stroller and eat crackers or cheerios. He is crawling like crazy now and just discovered that he can climb the stairs. If you set him down he heads straight for the stairs. He is in the process of getting his top two front teeth so he is not real happy these days, but other than that he is happy as can be. I still can't believe that will be celebrating his 1st birthday in a few months. Just for fun I will add a picture of him. He loves his Cheerios and shoves as many as he can in one handful. Yesterday he ended up with one stuck above his lip. Ethan and Emily thought it was so funny and wanted a picture of it, so here it is.
This weekend we have a lot of fun plans. Eric's parents, his brother Jared and his brother Tyler with his wife and 2 kids are coming to town. It is always so fun to get everyone together. We will be going to watch fireworks, swim, BBQ and Saturday is a baby shower for my sister in law who is having a baby in a few weeks!! I will hopefully have lots of pictures and report early next week. Have a great 4th!!!

I heard swimming lessons can work wonders on kids afraid of the water. I have been thinking about doing a mommy and me swim lesson for Ethan because he hates water in his face. Bath time is even hard. Also my kid mus just be weird cause he hates cheerios, fruit loops, or any other cereal that I want him to like, because that would make sitting through church easier, but he will have nothing to do with any of those cereals.
How fun is that! I know Kaia would love a place like that... I don't think Alaskan's believe in rec centers with fun stuff like this. I guess we do have a water park down in Anchorage... maybe we will take Kaia there and test her sea legs.
Can I say it's weird to see Tyler and his wife and 2 kids posted there. Of course it's the number 2 thing that was weird, I guess I'm used to being his wife by now. The weekend was great and I can't wait to come back in a few weeks.
so fun that you are all so much closer now for family get togethers. I just wish you were all located in utah :)
