My Baby is One!

One year ago today little Emery made his grand appearance into the world. For his birth story you can click here. He is growing so fast and taking more and more steps every day. Watch out, he's going to be running soon! In honor of my cute little guy here are just a few of the many things about him that I love along with some fun pictures through out the year and of course some from the big b-day party!

  • I love his smile. If anyone looks at him or talks to him he gives the biggest grin. No one can resist Emery's smile
  • He has the prettiest (hopefully that is a legal word when talking about a boy) blue eyes!
  • I love that he loves his daddy so much. I know he loves me too, but if daddy is any where near he would take him over me any day.
  • He loves his brother and sister. He gets so excited when he see them coming down the stairs.
  • I love his laugh and even more I love to make him laugh.
  • I love how his face lights up when I walk into his room in the morning or after nap time. He gets so excited to see his mommy!
  • I love that he has such a silly personality. He has already figured out things that make us laugh and he loves to do them to get a reaction out of us.

My list could go on and on, but I guess I will stop there. The bottom line is that I love him so much and I can't imagine our family without him. Sorry about so many pictures. It was so hard to even narrow it down to this many.

The night before his arrival

His favorite time of the day, bath time!

He got really shy when everyone was singing Happy Birthday to him. It was so cute.

Taking a little taste and not liking it at all

Happy Birthday to little Emery! And what's this deal about kindergartners having lockers? They're 5 and 6? Maybe they're putting these young ones in training for middle school already! Wahhhhh they're growing up so fast! I always think of you this time of year with your kids' fall birthdays just like my kids fall birthdays! Spencer will be 4 next week! Crazy!

Any trips to sea world planned in the next few weeks?

I can't believe little Emery is one! I agree with you about his laugh and smile. Even when he was just little, when we came to visit, you can't help but love that little guy's grin. When are you coming to visit????

I realized I didn't comment on Ethan's school day... he looks way old, and so cute. Chad and Eric will have to have a pow wow, about being the EQP. Or maybe we can since we don't see them. :)

Happy Birthday Emery!!! It's hard to believe it's been a year. Looks like it was a fun party and he got some really fun toys. Having a one year old is fun!!!

He sounds so much like my #3. I think they are silly because they have a permanent audience.

Oh wow! You have a cutie there, actually no a couple of them. And I can't believe that first picture was taken the "night before" he arrived?!?! You look great! Good for you.

And Happy Birthday Mr. E! (haha that's like Mr. T...so cool, I loved that character on the A-Team.)

Oh I was in the "Facebook Blog Network" Neighborhood and saw your e-door open, so I came for a short visit...come by and visit me too if you like. The door is always open!

Come here and we can go to the movie together or let's meet half way. I love that you know the books. Now you can join in the group for chatter. I love that we found each other.
