You know you're a true Texan when you are out shoveling snow in boots and shorts and using just a regular ol' shovel!! Who thought we would ever need to own a snow shovel or winter clothes for that matter!
Here are some fun pictures from playing in the snow. You can see that my kids are really not dressed for the weather, but they didn't seem to mind. After about a foot of snow and school being canceled we have had a great day playing in the snow! It almost feels like I am back home in Colorado!

so fun!! Brooklyn was totally bummed that we don't live in Dallas. I was really grateful - especially with Aaron gone. Shoveling snow would have been less than fun!!
i can't believe all that snow! it puts our little flurries to shame. so much fun!
